Deep down, I expected England to lose. I could feel it, smell disaster,
On Monday morning the word that came to mind was: Titanic. But I hesitated to use that expression in a sporting context.
Of course, I’d have loved to see us beat Iceland 4-0 or even 2-1.
I did a double : Italy to qualify/Iceland to qualify.
This morning it will be a relief to cruise into my pilates class, where nobody ever talks about football.
