KDB & Rashford will be Saturday’s men/ survivalists Pulis & Wenger

Manchester City should annihilate Stoke in the 12.45 kick off.

Kevin De Bruyne will be conducting the orchestra again and Aguero will keep Shay Given busy.

Wembley may confirm that Marcus Rashford has the temperament for big games.

Everton look very shaky right now, miles away from beingf able to beat Man Utd in an FA Cup semi-final

The Toffees are made for Rashford and Martial.

Most of us will be staggered if Manchester United don’t beat them.

On Thursday night, when Arsenal played Everton with 10,000 punters missing, I realised that Tony Pulis and Arsene Wenger are survivalists.

Pulis’s mission is to survive in the Premier League collect a bonus of £1m.

Wenger’s aim is to survive in the Champions League and get a bonus of £2.5m.

While West Brom had nothing go play for on Thursday, Sunderland are fighting for their lives and managed by Big Sam Allardyce, a  ruthless tactician who has often rattled Wenger in the past.

Sunderland v Arsenal kicks off at 2pm on Sky tomorrow.

Leicester v Swansea follows at 4pm.

Yes, Leicester do depend a lot on Vardy’s counter-attacking pace and efficiency.

Today seems like a very quiet interlude in a bank holiday weekend.

But I can’t explain why. Maybe it’s because Caroline came home last night and we’re going to her pal Katie’s party tomorrow. Last night, after Jan and Caroline had a long catch-up natter, Jan went off to bed and we ended up watching John Belushi in The Blues Brothers, which neither of us had ever seen.

Caroline couldn’t believe the film was made in 1980, before she was born. I was explaining who all the musicians were. Wrongly at times: I thought the guitarist was George Benson.

Today Jan said, “I could hear you laughing.”

She’d been reading in bed, a massive book I gave her for Christmas.

PS. De Bruyne isn’t playing!

He’s being rested for the Real Madrid semi. But he’s on the bench.
