With Petr Cech in Arsenal’s goal, I’ve stopped panicking

From Jeff Morrison :

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched an Arsenal game and not panicked every time the other side had a decent chance on goal.

I actually expect Cech to save the big chances the other teams create.

I don’t think I even felt that with Lehmann or even Seaman! Having that kind of rock back there is best thing you can buy for any team. As it’s been said, if only he’d started the first two.

Is Wenger is learning much belated lessons? Pie in the sky I’m sure, but it’s nice to have that feeling again anyway, if only for a little while.

Myles says:

John  Lukic was twice as good as any of the keepers between Lehmann and Cech.

But Ray Wilkins told me that Seaman would win  Arsenal the league.

And my friend Gassan Waked said that Don Howe, then at QPR, told him that Seaman would win Arsenal the league. Gass said the QPR strikers would hit fantastic shots in training, shots they were sure were going in, but Big Dave would sicken them by making wonder-saves. His arms were so long.
