A killer pass by Jack Wilshere released Gervinho beyond the defence and as the ball bounced in the D, the lad lifted it sweetly over the keeper in 7 minutes.
Second goal in 17, Gervinho stabbed in Walcott’s low cross from four yards and tumbled over the keeper.
In 29 minutes, he went off.
Second half, different players and not a lot happened.
Really good to see Vermaelen back after 8 months out.
Nothing much to say yet, really.
Except that Chamakh was pants.
He was pitiful. He was shocking. Worse than I’ve ever seen him. What’s the matter with the guy?What right does he have to be as bad as he was?
How on earth can Chamakh be as bad he was in Cologne?
