Why I still think Arsenal will beat Manchester United

Barcelona are above Arsenal”s level.

But Man Utd are well below Arsenal’s level these days.

After 26 games, United are 10 points below Arsenal.

AND 12 BELOW LEICESTER

The gap was plain when Arsenal blew United away with pace at the Emirates and won 3-0.

Since Alexis Sanchez is still stuttering, Wenger has to play Danny Welbeck to help Sanchez beat Danny’s  old team.

Wenger will hope the immutable law of the ex kicks in.

Welbeck is a gladiator, a warrior, so even if he doesn’t score he adds a lot with his pace & determination. He scored the header that beat Leicester and can do the same against United.

Generally, Arsenal are more solid, with much more fluency, more automatic.

If Arsenal pass and move as they can do, they’ll turn Danny Blind inside out and make lovely old Michael Carrick wonder what day of the week it is.

United have only scored 15 goals in 12 Premier League games at Old Trafford this season.

My gut feeling: Arsenal will play well on Sunday because they have to play well.

Right now, they don’t have a choice. They have to concentrate, perform and win the game.

And, in these circumstances, 1-0 is as good as 3-0.

Do you think Leicester will beat Norwich today? I do.
