Thierry’s last game for Arsenal ? No way !

As Spurs went down 2-1 at West Ham, Arsenal beat Wigan 4-2 with Henry slotting a hat-trick and Pires scoring the other goal.

So Arsenal finished fourth and Spurs fifth.

If that was Thierry Henry’s last game for Arsenal, he would be crying his eyes out, not laughing his head off a Sky Sports interview alongside Kolo, Ashley and Gilberto.

TH14 will stay at Arsenal, as I have said in countless ANR pieces this season. How many times have I said that? Six? Ten? Fifteen?

West Ham striker Teddy Sheringham’s penalty was saved by Paul Robinson when the score was 1-1. Then Benayoun scored the winner.

C’mon, you Irons !

VERDICT : Bigger pay days ahead in the Champions League.

Highbury closed by a talented young team which was able to beat Wigan and Spurs on the same day.

The club gave everyone, including Wigan fans, a free souvenir T-shirt. That is a world class promo stunt. Brilliant !
