The “experiment” is coming to an end if the silverwar- hungry fans have got anything to do with it.
Or the money-hungry directors (and players for that matter, who are a major reason for the increase) when the now badly-negotiated commercial deals start to tell.
Arsenal don’t have a God-given right to be winning titles and cups.
We don’t have some sort of expectancy to win every year.
However it’s maybe been too long since we have won anything, so were scared not only we could lose the taste for it; like a vegatrian Lion King of the Democratic Jungle. On top of all this were told 6 percent is what we have to pay to continue hoping that the man who brought us the Invincibles, the greatest team in our history, will bring us something near to the current Barcelona team.
I have been a staunch defender of Arsene and always will be but i am not stupid. I am not a fan. I am not a celebrity stalker. I am not a blind fool. I can see we need to make the final step, the most difficult step and i can see how bad the Carling Cup defeat has had on us. With hindsight of course.
Like the boss, Ilike to believe when the occassion asks, the players will answer. The more question they get the more times they can answer.
They are after all the youngest top8 team in Europe.
My club level season ticket will be starting next season.
In fact I’ve bought a pair and I hope I can bring some good luck to our season because when ever I have watched a game live, we have always won. Well thats me adding my worth to the club.
A friend of mine at a game of ours said, “Wenger is shit, what has he won? Arsenal are stupid for keeping with him” when another friend interupted and said “Mate, if I started a club I’d have that man in charge and I’d be a billionaire.”
Maybe Arsene needs to just shake things up a little. Get rid of a first team player. Add a steely character. I still believe in Nasri, Fabregas, Van Persie, Wilshere, Vermaelen, and Woj. We have the nucleus.
The experiment may die but the legacy will carry us into a great era.
At this point, I’m tempted to say “Believe, my fellow gooners” but as supporters I guess that’s our very nature.
