Let me see 10 games/Let me see Klopperpool in February

That’s what I usually say.

“Let me see 10 league games and then I’ll comment on the title.”

So here we are.

Manchester City.

Why? Because they have more firepower.

Last night Kevin De Bruyne scored his 6th goal in 9 games.

Man City 5 Crystal Palace 1 in the Capital One Cup.

A few weeks back I was joking with Rob Hughes about KDB and said, “If he gets any better, I’ll start calling him Kevin De Stefano.”

A reference to the legendary Real Madrid centre forward who astounded millions of viewers when his great team beat Eintracht Frankfurt 7-3 at Hampden Park in front of a vast crowd of 134,000.

Alfredo Di Stefano, Ferenc Puskas, Gento and the rest played like men from another planet that night in 1960.

Last night I watched Liverpool v Bournemouth and saw ginger-haired reserve keeper Adam Bogdan make exceptional saves, saw left back Clyne score after Firmino’s backheel was kicked off the line.

Bogdan, 28, is a Hungarian international who was signed on a free from Bolton.

Had a feeling that they wouldn’t score again, so I switched off. I know what Liverpool are like right now. And I want to see what they’re like in February.

Memo to self: Check out Klopperpool in February, after he’s had another three months to get them training properly and playing in the way that he wants.

PS. Klopp reckons Benteke should be back to play against Chelsea on Saturday.
