Farcical Fulop keeps Arsenal above Spurs

Do you think third is success?

Arsenal did not challenge for anything this season.

Arsene FC finished third-and a very poor third.

19 points behind Man United and new champions Man City.

The club decided not to compete.

Arsenal prefer their Sustainable Model, and a manager who  doesn’t  teach defence,  which guarantees failure every season.

At the Hawthorns, three blunders by reserve keeper Martin Fulop gave lucky Arsenal three goals and they won 3-2.

At the Etihad, QPR were winning 2-1 in 91 minutes, lost 3-2,  but stayed up.

Because Bolton could only draw 2-2 at Stoke.

Rooney scored with a header from one yard at Sunderland, but United could not add his   20th minute goal.

Spurs beat Fulham 2-0 to earn fourth place.

Newcastle were fifth,Chelsea sixth.

Everton were seventh but 8 points behind Chelsea.

David Moyes has far less money but he  buys well and maximises the potential of  his highly motivated squad.

That is Everton’s sixth consecutive top eight finish. And only the second time in 20 years that they’ve finished above Liverpool.

Liverpool and Fulham both have 52 points and West Brom were 10th.

Promoted Swansea beat Liverpool 1-0 to finish 11th, two points above Norwich, who beat Aston Villa 2-0.

Last two months, I’ve broken even on my bets.

That makes me think that- at least some of the time- I know what I’m talking about.

On Saturday I did a Trixie on Juventus, Norwich and Man City -three doubles and a treble.

And I did BTS in the Arsenal game.

I was sure both teams would score. I think we all knew that.

But I placed that bet before I knew Ben Foster had injured his groin in training on Friday.

Before I knew that Martin Fulop hadn’t played a Premier League game for two years.

As always, I’ve got plenty to say about Arsenal but it will keep till tomorrow or later in the week.
