Did Ashley Cole want to be seen with Mourinho?

DID ASHLEY COLE want to be seen at that hotel last Thursday?

Let’s face it, Cole could go to any London hotel and go upstairs and into a suite and meet Mourinho and Kenyon and Zahavi and come out and go downstairs and get into a car and people would say, “Oh, there’s Ashley Cole coming out of a hotel.”

So what?

He could have had a secret meeting with Florentino Perez.

Or a secret meeting with Jennifer Lopez.

Nobody would know. Nobody would see.

I can only conclude that those four people WANTED to be seen together.

LAST SUNDAY’S News of the World scoop, with a signed affidavit, was obviously true from the first moment I heard about it.

Would I see Ashley Cole be on TV next day saying,“I was not there, I’m Arsenal through and through and I will sign a new contract here very soon.”

NO WAY !

Instead, what I saw was Arsene Wenger saying that he had not asked Ashley if he was there !!!

Since Arsene said he did not ask if Ashley met with Chelsea last Thursday, we know that meeting took place.

OK, if Ashley is on 27 grand a week, and Pat, Robert and Thierry are on 70 and 80, then Ashley is underpaid.

Arsenal should double his wages.

BUT WHAT STATE of mind was Cole in on Tuesday night?

Well, Ashley had a very bad night .

He allowed Ryan Giggs to have his best-ever game against Arsenal, scoring one goal and making two other goals..

Thursday he met Chelsea, Sunday it was a sensational story, Tuesday his team is hammered by Man Utd – and he has a stinker.

Also, Cole’s penalty dive was despicable.

In the third minute he raced into the box to reach a loose ball that came off Roy Keane and when the cool Keane didn’t make a reckless tackle, Cole threw himself down, sticking out his right leg, so that his foot caught Keane on the knee.

PATHETIC CHEATING !!!

If the FA want to clean up football, they should give an automatic one-match ban for that.

The should issue a Greatest Cheats compilation video, for distribution to clubs, and for broadcast, showing the 30 most blatant dives by current players.

And the FA should say : From now on, this is a one-match ban from the next game.

Clearly, Ashley Cole needs more money.

Six months ago I heard that he spent £250,000 on two cars. One cost £185,000.
