Before brilliant Barcelona, it’s workmanlike Wolves

Arsenal will play Barcelona on Wednesday night, as half the world knows by now.

Wenger’s team  has improved since last season. It’s added Wilshere and Chamakh, two good players.

But Barcelona have improved too.

They’ve improved so much they’ve   just won 16 La Liga games in a row, beating the previous record of 15 by the legendary Di Stefano-Puskas team of 1961.

Will Arsenal turn up against Wolves? Since it’s a home game, they’ll have to. Will Wenger pick his strongest team? Wait and see. Wait and see who plays against Barca who didn’t play against Wolves.

What do we think of Wolves?

Well, they work very hard and put the ball in the box. They cross the ball into dangerous areas. Sometimes they get on the end of the crosses and score. But, on many days, they’re always a yard away from scoring a goal and that’s why they’re 19th in the table.

When Wolves went to Man City, they lost 4-3.Last week they played Manchester United and Nani scored after 3 minutes but Wolves won 2-1.

At lunchtime, it’s Manchester United v Man City.

Nani thunderbolt or Kolarov free-kick? A hat-trick by Tevez or one by Berbatov?

A low-scoring draw would suit Arsenal, who gained a point on United last weekend and might pull back another two on Saturday afternoon if they defend properly and take their chances and battle for 90 minutes. Saturday will be a sunny day. Enjoy.
