Gooners should be optimistic before tomorrow’s game against Spurs.
There isn’t a lot to fear.
Arsenal’s teamwork is superior and Nasri is on fire right now.
But it would not be a good idea to switch him to the left, so he can destroy Hutton on the inside.
Arshavin can beat Hutton on the inside.
The Russian fears he might not start because he played 90 against Belgium on Wednesday night
I hope Wenger doesn’t play Walcott on the right to help the defence to cope with Bale’s pace.
Centreback Kaboul is a big lump who gives you a chance. He has storming games occasionally but his positioning is clueless. I just can’t believe that Spurs could beat Arsenal with Kaboul in defence.
Don’t be mean to William Gallas, chaps.
Gallas was a tremendous player for Arsenal. His biggest problem was that he cared too much.
The presence of Gareth Bale and Rafael van der Vaart make it interesting and could keep the game on a knife-edge. Sharpshooter Defoe is back but I can’t see him starting.
Van Persie had 45 for Holland against Turkey and did OK. He advised Wenger to sign Rafa, his mate, in the summer.
Robin, you know your pal is not Wenger’s type of player. He’s not an athlete but he’s a very fine goalscorer who might be worth an EW punt.
I think Arsenal will play round and through Spurs all day long and win convincingly.
Modric will be pushed too deep to do much damage.
However, it could be an exciting, rocking, pulsating game. And maybe a memorable one.
I can’t wait.
