Arsenal’s keyboard warriors should stop moaning and…

From Naz:    fans are guilty
Arsenal fans need to stop moaning and aiming digs and insults at Wenger or the Board.
The fans are the ones to blame. We are all moaning and hiding behind screens, keyboard warriors.

If you want change, demand change.

Let’s all stand up together, stop going to games, buying kits and the assortment of merchandise. Demand change with your feet. The cameras focusing on empty seats cannot lie.
From Xavier: expectations
I find it funny to see so many fellow supporters so worked up.
Firstly, the window has only just opened and secondly why would Wenger break the habit of a lifetime and splash out big?
It will not only make him look desperate, it will also prove he has got it wrong all along.
His ego will not let him accept either. He might as well finish off at Arsenal ‘his way’ and then go onto PSG and start doing it like everyone else.
I never fancied Higuain to be honest, so I will be pleased if that deal doesn’t come off, he’s not the type of player we are lacking. Neither do I believe we tabled £30m for Suarez, I don’t care what paper carried it.
I would quite fancy Benteke though, he is exactly what we need! I would cry if he goes to Spurs.
Summarily, i’m half expecting that we have done out real striker business for the window, i.e Sanogo, that is the expectation. He fits the bill, skilled but very injury-prone and of course free.
On a separate but related another issue, would any other serious team give Diaby a shirt number for the season? The man is simply not fit enough, when will that be grasped. It doesn’t take a whole day to recognise sunlight does it?

From Brendan : transfer blah blah

Morning Myles,

The summer’s not even half way through and we’re into a slough of discontent already!!

Steady on, people.

Yes, Spurs have made a signing, and they’re seemingly in for 100 others, and are willing to throw money around left right and centre. Still, so far, this has not been the answer to their problems.

There’s absolutely no guarantee it will be the answer in the future.

Chelsea are buying and being linked with buying players. Big deal. Let the clubs with unlimited warehouses of cash built on the blood of Siberian peasants do their worst.

A point worth remembering – Liverpool have won a trophy in the past 8 years (well OK they won the Champions League in 2005)

But ask any Liverpool fan what they’d prefer – a Carling Cup win against Cardiff (a jammy one at that) or consistent top 4 finishes – and I think you’d find the vast majority would take the latter.

Happy summer vibes to all .
