Arsenal’s best Saturday of the season

ONLY TWO MORE Saturday games at Highbury.

The five-star demolition of Aston Villa was the highlight of a marvellous day for the club, as Bolton lost at home to Man United by 2-1, Spurs were crushed 3-1 at Newcastle in the absence of Ledley King, and Juventus were held to a 0-0 by relegation candidates Treviso.

The crowd at the Juventus-Treviso game was only 8,500.

Arsenal’s remaining Saturday games are West Brom (15th) and Tottenham (22nd).

Spurs have the worst full backs in the league, so Arsenal will annihilate them down the flanks in that six-pointer.

That Saturday, April 22nd, will be more exciting, and closer, than the Aston Villa 5-0, as long as Arsenal have their shooting boots on, since Paul Robinson is making great saves lately.

It’s strange how football history writes itself sometimes. Who would have guessed that Arsenal’s last Saturday game at Highbury would be against….Spurs.

WE HAVE had many letters recently.A large number about that piece about G14 from Chelsea fan Steve.

Will write something on that soon.

And a Juventus preview.
