Roberto Bettega basically destroyed David O’Leary’s shinpad, very nasty challenge.
There was a big hoo-ha in Italy over Terry Neill’s comments about Bettega’s assault on O’Leary.
Bettega had his own tv show in Italy at the time and Neill was invited to go on it. Which was declined.
Marco Tardelli – got sent off for a ”challenge’ on Brady.
