All the stock has been withdrawn. It’s a good shirt, apart from the white Fly Emirates logo, which cracks and peels off.
For fans with faulty shirts, the Nike people made lists of names, and took their phone numbers.The deal is this : when new stock arrives in April, we will phone you. Just bring your faulty shirt in and we’ll swap it for a new one.
It’s even been suggested that Arsenal have agreed to take back any defective shirt, regardless of where it was bought, and send it back to Nike, although that has yet to be confirmed.
The club’s Nike deal has another five years to run and the home shirts for 2007-2008 will be the same as those for this season.
Arsenal say this is a recent problem due to a faulty batch.
