Hi Myles,
Regular reader, first time commenter.
Don’t always agree with what’s written on ANR – but hey, you can’t please all the people all the time!
I just wanted to comment on Arsenal’s pre-season tour of Asia.
For years I have been sympathetic with the manager’s wishes for a pre-season without much travel thinking that it cant do the players much good – so therefore it can’t be good preparation for one of the biggest, fastest-paced and most physical leagues in the world.
But then again… they won’t be slumming it or travelling economy will they!
However, being a resident of the UK all my life, I’m lucky enough to be working in Kuala Lumpur this week.
Every other ad-break on the TV is about the-once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea play here.
It’s a huge deal that these Premier League teams are coming!
I was hugely surprised. Let’s just hope that they dont have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Denilson, Eboue etc etc.
Haha!
Keep up the good work.
Phil
