ANR Exclusive : Arsenal freeze ticket prices

CHELSEA were the first Premiership club to announce a freeze on ticket prices.

All their non-corporate seats will be the same price next season.

Bolton and Blackburn are reducing ticket prices.

Everton are offering a reduction for season ticket holders who renew early.

Sheffield United are freezing prices.

And so they should, since a massive new TV deal can be used to subsidise ticket prices.

Tonight, exclusive to ANR and well before a formal announcement, I hear that the Arsenal board have decided to freeze ticket prices for 2007-2008.

IT WAS ONLY YESTERDAY – THURSDAY – THAT I WROTE THIS :

A 0-0 draw against PSV could end Arsenal’s season with ten Premiership games left.

That’s the challenge now. Arsenal can beat PSV and stay in the top eight in Europe. Or they can lose and drop to somewhere between 9th and 16th.

If it’s the latter, will Keith Edelman freeze season-ticket prices ?

Have a great weekend, wherever you are.
