Watch out for Falcao & Colombia in the World Cup

From Steven Nobke: Falcao

Wow!

I’d not seen the goals until I had read you comments on the Copa del Rey.

I saw that Falcao did not score, so did not bother watching the highlights, thank you for pointing out how amazing that assist was!

I highly doubt he will come to England, I just hope he gets to play for a top club on the highest stage.

From Sam Roberts: Radamel Falcao

“Make no mistake, Radamel Falcao is an electric samurai who makes Batistuta look like Joe Jordan.”

Myles, an illuminating review of Real vs. Atletico and you couldn’t be more right about Falcao – he’s a magical talent.

Look out for Falcao and Colombia at next year’s World Cup.

No team from Europe has ever won a World Cup in Latin America and with a young Brazil team faltering and Messi lost at times in an unpredictable Argentina side, Colombia are  the team to watch out for.

Falcao is the star, but fellow attackers like James Rodrigues and Jackson Martinez of Porto are set to step up to superstar status too.

Add the cerebral attacking coach Jose Pekerman to the mix and it’s no surprise that Colombia are surging forward in World Cup qualification.

They might be dark horses to most football fans, but they represent great value at 33-1 to win the World Cup (joint 9th favourites with France). Uruguay went very close last time and Colombia now are a far superior team to that surprise package.

Falcao and his able lieutenants will be at their peak and a serious proposition. Don’t bet against them…
