Will Pogba go to Manchester City, Chelsea or Barcelona?

Paul Pogba, 22, is an attacking midfielder.

He never started a league game for Manchester United.

Morgan Schneiderlin, 25, is an accomplished defensive midfielder who has played seven seasons for Southampton, the last three in the Premier League.

Both are French internationals and while Schneiderlin has 9 senior caps, Pogba has 23 senior caps and 5 goals.

It looks as if Man United are about to sign Schneiderlin for £24 million, while Man City may break the British transfer record to sign Pogba from Juventus.

All the top players want to play in the Champions League and this is the main reason for Schneiderlin’s expected switch to Old Trafford.

Pogba joined United and began to play for the youth team in 2009 but left for Juventus after playing only three sub appearances for the United first team.

At Juventus, he won three Serie A titles and recently played in the Champions League Final against Barcelona in Berlin.

If a footballer is as hot as Pogba is right now, there are usually conflicting reports about his future.

Presidential candidate Joan Laporta, up to his usual tricks, is claiming that Pogba is on his way to Barcelona, while other reports say Chelsea will use Oscar as a makeweight in a deal to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

However, the most recent UK reports claim Pogba is on his way to Manchester City for a British record fee of £60m.

We’ve been told that Pogba wants £7m a year net of tax.

He ‘s apparently asking for 20 per cent of any future sell-on to be paid to his agent Mino Raiola, and his original agent Oualid Tanazefti.

The colourful Mino is also Zlatan’s agent and Mino’s first client and close friend is Pavel Nedved, now the sporting director of Juventus.

Last week I had some ideas for Arsenal features but then ANR crashed for 5 days. That always knocks out of my rhythm.

I’m still kicking those ideas around….
