While Arsenal may already have lost Alexis Sanchez to Juventus, Liverpool

need to become good enough to keep Sadio Mane.

Right now I think Everton would beat Arsenal.

Ronald Koeman has gradually given them stability and turned Romelu Lukaku into a goal-machine who produces every week.

Wheras Liverpool have been a rabble recently. We see holes in their defence as wide as the Mersey Tunnel and Firmino can’t hit a barn door.

I said last year that the 28-year-old Sanchez is wasting his time at Arsenal.

Quite simply, Sanchez is a special one, a mighty atom, a truly great football gladiator who deserves to play in a great team and win trophies. He would fit in well at Juventus, as Carlos Tevez did.

The Serie A leaders are confident they will sign him.

LIVERPOOL NEED TO BECOME GOOD ENOUGH TO KEEP 24-YEAR OLD MANE.

Because he’s got the equipment to become another Didier Drogba, another Luis Suarez.

In truth, Liverpool fans have started looking below them.

They’ve  seen Manchester United acquiring consistency and winning the EFL Cup luckily after an exciting battle with Southampton at Wembley

And they can see that Ronald Koeman’s got Ross Barkley performing at last.

The Toffees have evolved into a really tasty team and Lukaku isn’t just a beast. He’s a powerhouse sprinter whose finishing has become clinical.

Sometimes a centre forward takes time to mature, needs a few seasons to find his best self.

Liverpool v Arsenal is at 5.30 on BT and the teams will be announced at 4.30.

So I won’t think about the game until 4.30.

Manchester United will beat Bournemouth in the 12.30 kick-off.

So United will have three points in the bag before Arsenal get on the pitch.
