Uefa are the good guys, especially Lennart Johansson.
Lennart was Uefa president from 1990 to 2007.
He’s 85 now but will be in Zurich on Friday.
The Swede agrees with the calls for a re-vote on 2018 and 2002.
Lennart says what I said on Wednesday morning: “Blatter will obviously ensure that he wins the election in his own way. I think it’s unfortunate that the world’s biggest sporting movement has such a leader at the top. I really do.
“I expect they will reconsider the decisions. Blatter himself has said that the decision to go east wasn’t proper. I am sure the initiative will now be taken to make a new decision.”
He would like to see the 2018 finals played in England.
“They haven’t had it since 1966, and it’s considered the motherland of football.”
Fifa went downhill after 1974.
Blatter and his boss Havelange loathed Sir Stanley Rous because he wasn’t like them.
Rous was honest, so those two scumbags removed him.
