From Vincent : Best in the Premier League?
Ha, Kevin De Bruyne the best footballer in the Premier League?
Don’t be daft and stop making sweeping comments like that. He’s had half a decent season. Can rattle off a few players who are comfortably better than him.
Sanchez, Aguero, Hazard and Ozil are all ahead of the smooth Belgian.
Myles says:
There is no greater joy for a blogger than to make sweeping generalisations on a daily basis.
But I don’t do it to annoy readers. You might think it’s a calculated wind-up but I’m more spontaneous than most. It’s usually just enjoyment that makes me say what another football fan might say after 8 pints.
Brian Clough said, “Opinion makes the world go round.”
From Darryl : Kevin De Bruyne is NOT the best
footballer in the Premier League.
Dimitri Payet at West Ham is.
Myles says:
I love Payet.
I watch this little guy from Reunion in the French Pacific and thank my lucky stars that I’m able to see him play football and be as sportsmanlike as he is in this ghastly era of selfies and greed.
Who else would wait by the tunnel at half-time to congratulate Joe Hart for saving a free-kick that Payet thought was in the net.? Very good footwork by Joe on that save.
And I loved Slav, who knew he was world class when we didn’t
WHAT ARTISTRY!!!
If Picasso had been a footballer, he’d have played like Payet.
But his free-kicks wouldn’t have been so accurate.
