Arsene says he is not fit yet. But Francis Jeffers could play for an hour, surely.
Fulham might suit him more than Chelsea. Their centrebacks are not as good as Desailly and John Terry.
Basically, the game of football is about goals. Scoring them, stopping them.
Jeffers has the knack, we think. It may be time to put him to the test.
By all accounts, Wiltord had his worst game ever in Mallorca. And he has had a lot of bad games.
I’m beginning to have serious doubts about this 4-3-3 system with two wide attackers.
Arsenal dominate huge chunks of games and play some nice stuff, but they do not create as many chances as they did when they played high-powered narrow football down the middle of the field.
It’s all looking a bit shaky at the moment and I would be tempted to go back to the 4-4-1-1 system that has worked so well in the past.
Should Arsene play Bergkamp behind Jeffers? Or Henry behind Jeffers?

PS A friend who was at the AGM spoke to a supporter who says the club have a Plan B for a stadium site if Ashburton Grove does not get planning permission from Islington. But he did not know where it was.
