ZOLTAN GERA is by far West Brom’s best player.
The left-footed Hungarian could be a threat to Arsenal’s hopes of finishing second.
Old boys Kanu and Kevin Campbell should not put Lehmann’s goal in great danger.
Robert Earnshaw is a bouncy, zippy goal-poacher, so he might pop up a few times. He’s brave and quick, my kind of striker, but I’m sure Arsenal can contain him.
Jose Antonio Reyes scored a vital goal with a scorching shot against Spurs and I’m looking to Reyes produce something similar tonight.
Will he decide to stay at Arsenal? Does Reyes want to play with Henry for the next three years?
Everybody wants to be happy at work and Reyes wants to be happy and I don’t think he will ever be happy playing with Va-Va-Voom.
But if JAR does go back to Spain I’d like him to do it after scoring in the FA Cup Final against Manchester United.
CHELSEA are the only team in England who could have gone to the Reebok under that pressure and won 2-0.
Chelsea battled and wobbled. They were rocking a bit until Frank Lampard scored two fine goals in 59 and 75.
They have the ruthlessness of a Brian Clough team, or a George Graham team, although neither Clough nor Graham ever had a midfielder who could score 18 goals and become Footballer of the Year.
ELECTION IN 3 DAYS from now?
I guess some really strange people WANT a twerp like Oliver Letwin as a minister.
Had an email from Tariq Ali two weeks ago, advising me to vote Lib Dem. We did that last time. We rather like Sarah Teather, our little MP.
It’s been a mean, nasty, squalid, stupid campaign, full of negativity, concentrating on personalities, not policies.
But that is British life now. A crude, vulgar soap opera featuring personalities rather than issues, values, real things.
