Alex Marc : already out of contention and providing no excitement
Myles,
Although I have been less active in responding, I have followed your forum consistently in the last few months.
Like you said a few times: there is a life beside the Gunners.
That is even more true with this bunch: on paper they are still alive in 2 competitions but they have been so poor and gutless that everybody expects them to bow out of both in silence through the back door.
Who believes in them at this point? Not many!
My 2 tickets for the Man City games have remained unsold on ticket exchange. I made them available through the platform provided by the club and nobody wanted them.
One of the biggest games of the season, against the reigning champion, admittedly a “Disneyland assemblage” of some of the highest-paid mercenaries in the world, yet there were no takers.
Maybe the incredibly high selling price has some responsibility. Technically, the game on Sunday against the current Champion is a sell-out.
However, in practice it is not!
Tickets were available and not picked up at the regular price.
Alarm bells should be ringing everywhere around the Emirates. It is in the process of very slowly getting worse…before it can have the slightest chance of getting better.
Cheers.
