Myles’s best Premiership X1 (on form so far)

I love David Silva and thought my team of the half-season would be Silva plus 10 other players.

As it turned out, I ended up not picking  Silva or other stars you would expect to be here.

There’no world class holding midfielder in the Premier League, so I didn’t pick one.

I was looking for balance, for players I thought could play with each other.

Stupid numbers like 52  often annoy me, so the team that will never play has been given sensible numbers that more or less suit what they do on the pitch.

Tiote had a blinder last night but Newcastle lost 3-1 at Liverpool.Maybe   Tiote  is more suitable for this team than  Ramires.

Half of these  footballers are slightly older than I thought they were.

It’s a Latin team with a bit of European muscle  & the baby of the side  is Gareth Bale.

Bale  doesn’t defend and he’s a bit of a tart but he’s explosive and he scores goals.

1. Tim Krul 23 Newcastle

2. Ivanovic 27 Chelsea
