One thing I love about this site is the range of views presented (thanks Myles!).
That said, many of the commentators here lately seem to think nothing will change until Wenger goes.
I’m in that camp too.
But remember, be careful what you wish for…. Lots of people are hoping for Pep.
Realistically, we have no chance.
Myles posted my comments last year on Arsenal’s business model (http://arsenalnewsreview.co.uk/wp/index.php/news/2542/45/Arsenal-model-just-accept-it-or-quit).
In a nutshell, maximise profits by qualifying for the Champions League at the lowest possible cost.
Given that – and I still believe it to be true – why on earth would a high-flying over-achiever like Pep come to Arsenal? I just can’t see it.
And David Moyes – why would he come to Arsenal to struggle for greatness on a shoestring, exactly like he has at Everton for years?
Come to that, why would any manager with ambition sign up for a club whose only ambition is to finish fourth?
