Manchester City v Chelsea is exciting.It’s huge.It’s a 12.30 kick-off

Massive game.

Biggest of the season so far.

But no predictions here. Just a few observations.

If I was picking a team to play for my life, I’d have Diego Costa at centre forward instead of Kun Aguero. Because he’s bigger and able to score every type of goal.

Costa will bully Stones and bamboozle him while Hazard and Pedro scoot around nearby.

Chelsea have kept six clean sheets in their last seven ganes and that’s a very good habit to acquire.

Claudio Ranieri, another Italian, loves a clean sheet and look what Leicester achieved last season.

Having been brought up on Liverpool, Brian Clough and George Graham, I love a team that knows how to defend.

When I’m watching a tennis match in the final set and it’s two top players and very close, I always favour the guy who is holding his serve to love.

For me, clean sheets in football are the equivalent of that.

Being an audacious coach, Pep Guardiola might switch his team around to surprise Antonio Conte.

Both managers are in their first season in the Premier League and neither man ever played in England.

Kevin De Bruyne will start and I think Gundogan will too. I’d keep Yaya Toure as a one-man army who can deployed from 45 or 70 minutes, as required.

Yaya has slimmed down a lot. How many kilos has he lost?

Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus will be at the game.

He already knows Fernandinho, who has started every Man City game this season (I think…)

Current PL table:

1.Liverpool P13  30pts

3. Man City P13  30pts
