Recently I’ve been pondering the new season.
I’ve been thinking about the Everton game and all the stuff that everyone else thinks about.
Mainly, I’ve been weighing up the Arsenal squad.
Haven’t seen Vermaelen, disappointed he didn’t play last weekend in the Emirates Cup. Don’t know how many weeks Rosicky will be fit for. I think some Arsenal players are useless, I don’t think Denilson is useless. I reckon Denilson is competent.
But how many players have Arsenal got?
I’ve been thinking about this for three weeks.
Looking carefully through the squad, looking at the Atletico Madrid game, and the Rangers game, I divided the squad into Players and Others.
And I listed the Players.
Arshavin, Sagna, Fabregas, Wilshere, Gallas, Gibbs, Clichy, Eduardo and Nasri.
So I think they have nine players.
If Vermaelen is good, Wenger has ten players. If Rosicky stays fit, eleven.
That’s not enough.
I like Kalou and hope he is signed. Kalou is tenacious, quick, a striker with bright movement and touch.He would fit in quickly. He would definitely suit Arshavin
