I\’m impressed by the first two of Street Fighter\’s 12 episodes.
Discovered last week that my daughter Caroline is a fan and has some of the comics.
How did I not know that till now?
And son Michael admits that he used to play Street Fighter on a videogame machine in an off-license near his school.
We won\’t be seeing much of Joey, as he\’ll be in Los Angeles for two months. But I saw him yesterday and he\’s in really good spirits.
In The Los Angeles Times he talked about the screenplay and the stuff about their unification strategy is especially interesting.

From David Horowitz : Street Fighter
I spend a good part of the long weekend ploughing through Joey’s Street Fighter.
As a long term fan of the comic, game and overall story, I think he gracefully transposed the beauty and grace of the story onto the small screen.
Without spoiling, he also set it up perfectly for a sequel.
The casting was phenomenal and it really stayed true to the storyline we all grew up with.
I think it is a testament to kickstarter and fan power that this circumvented the usual “Hollywood” path.
Probably something that allowed it to keep its beauty.
