Arsenal loyalist is upbeat and shares his insights

From Michael Budgen: luck

Afternoon Myles, to suppose the first goal was down to luck would be to underestimate Sanchez’s skill and the effort that went into making it happen,

Bournemouth were playing it short, the first few times we were pressing like mad, for the goal, Sanchez smartly half pressed, the defender assumed he would be flying in, and took the bait, to Sanchez, waiting around the corner.

Luck is where opportunity meets preparation?

Of course, the effort of pressing, and the tactical decision to do so, could all be luck, as to give any credit elsewhere would no doubt stick in your craw!

Mustafi is far from slow, if anything he needs to slow down a bit, he’s running around a bit too much, rather than letting the ‘shape’ defend, the back 4 hasn’t really developed an understanding yet, to move as one, too often they drifted back too deep, rather than push up (as we did against Liverpool in the first game of the season)

Oh well, playing badly, picking up points, November done & dusted and no losses.

Seem to be still waiting on a blog from you to tell us all why the Spuds have gone to rat sh1t, despite the tactical and managerial marvel that Poc is ?

Still waiting on John’s season ticket by the way. Did you pass on my message?

Kind Regards.

Myles says:

I’m afraid,Michael, that these days leaders are scarcer than invitations to Castro’s funeral.

Even 20 years ago most Arsenal fans realised that captains like Tony Adams don’t grow on trees.

Frank McLintock was brilliant at QPR after Arsenal made the mistake of selling him.

I really wanted to write about Tottenham’s form during the Champions League week but there was so much going on that that I never got to it.

Planned to go to the gym on Wednesday but just changed my mind…. I’m going right now.

But I’ll come back to Spurs this week, probably on Friday.
