Arsenal-HAGL deal is truly extraordinary

A kit deal with Puma, fine.

A party with Puma in the Diamond Club on Monday night?

It’s normal, it’s business.

It’s all part of the game.

As ANR readers know, a global football club has to look for suitable partners all round the world.

Remarkably, the Sustainable  Arsenal Corporation has teamed up with HAGL  in Vietnam and will play a friendly there this summer.

The  HAGL CEO is a man who produced one of the most  rapacious remarks of this century when he said, “I think natural resources are limited, and I need to take them, before they\’re gone.”

Which Arsenal lawyer did the due diligence on these guys?

Maybe this is a story for Charlie Sale in The Daily Mail.

Maybe it’s perfect  for David Conn, the financial  sports  expert  at The Guardian.

Or maybe it’s a story for The Financial Times.

Either way,  I reckon it’s  an amazing  film by Global Witness and  a story  that needs more resources than ANR has available.
