The AST had a meeting last night.
I had Sky Sports News on pause and I somehow lost it and missed what the fans were saying.
Only saw one comment.
A bloke with a flat cap and a grey beard said.”It’s whether the team is trying or not – that’s what I care about.”
Quite!
I want to see a team that’s organised, moitivated, hungry, playing for each other, performing as if winning means something to them.
After Arsenal slumped to a 4-0 defeat in Milan, we were told Wenger gave them a bollocking at the training ground the following day.
He had a “tirade”, we were told.
I didn’t believe that. The story didn’t smell right, didn’t sound right, wasn’t believable.
This lot are not scared of the manager.
If they were, they woudn’t play as pitifully as they do
Really, I’ve got nothing more to say on Arsenal.
Wenger has ruined the team. He’s ruined Vermaelen already, just as he ruined Reyes and Arshavin. His “team” lacks power, lacks leaders, lacks spark, passion, belief. A team full of dead wood, a squad full of dead wood, failures out on loan. How could it be worse? How could Arsenal be more mismanaged than this? Why do they have so many injuries? Diaby only plays six games a year. What is the point of Diaby?
The whole situation is a disgrace.
What Wenger did eight years ago is irrelevant, it’s history. He was rightly lauded for his innovations and for winning six trophies in style. And very well paid.
But all that is ancient history now.
Football is about today and tomorrow, it’s about hope, it’s about the next game and far the next trophy.
Stars put bums on seats, stars excite punters. Kids don’t.
Arsenal will not be able to sell the boxes or Club Level unless they buy exciting players. And Wenger dithers too long to get the players Arsenal need
What he has done and not done in the last five years is shameful and he’ll get his arse comprehensively kicked on Sunday.
Arsenal 2012 are a shambles.
They will not beat Spurs and they might get smashed.
Thursday’s board meeting will have no effect on that.
