Arsenal failures due to weak squads! We’re all over-thinking it

James M. Levitt : We’re all over-thinking it

Hi Myles,

Hope you’re well.

Reading the moaning emails from disgruntled so-called Gooners on your blog every day is as boring as season after season of Groundhog Day.

This week we celebrated the 15 year anniversary of Dennis’s goal at St. James’s Park. Never been replicated, never will.

Anyway, got me thinking that we’re all just over-thinking this.

Wenger won titles with Dennis, Thierry, PV4, Freddie, Tony Adams, Lee Dixon etc…Giants of the game.

With their collective talent and determination his coaching methods enabled us to get over the line and win things.

This crop of players, and the players post-2004, just ain’t good enough to get over the line and so his coaching can only get us to top 4.

I know there’s other factors like the financing of the stadium, the oligarch, and Citeh’s oil $ that have contributed to the odds being stacked against us but the average playing squads have ultimately determined why it’s Groundhog Day every year.

Myles says:

You’re a fine philosopher, James.

Under-thinking could catch on in 2017.

If it does, you’ll be famous.

Since you have an authorial name, you’ll be asked to write a book.

When you decline that offer you’ll say,”That would be over-thinking it. Less is more. You have to practice what you preach.”
