He’s usually a sit-back-and-put-things-in-proper-perspective kinda Arsenal fan.
No knee-jerk reactions to bad results, little blame on the manager, it’s only football etc. He’s logical reasoning can be maddening atimes but he writes quite well which takes me to his blog daily. He’s not blatantly an AKB but he is borderline.
Anyway, the point I’m trying to make is the latest Arsecast published yesterday was quite astonishing. He really let go and for once blamed wenger squarely for the team’s shortcomings.
Something I sensed in his outburst was someone who really worships Wenger, was desperately hoping he would recapture his past glory so he could stick it to naysayers like yourself, Mr Palmer but suddenly realized that it just isn’t going to happen.
He even went as far as to admit that the FA Cup victories were against shitty teams!

Strangely, I was once asked to appear on his podcast with Amy Lawrence.
Why would I do that? Why would I do a favour to someone who has been so insulting about us?
I was utterly baffled by that suggestion, and assumed that Amy, a journalist I’ve known since we worked on FourFourTwo in the Nineties, did not know that Arseblog had been rude about ANR.
