Myles, just a point to clarify.
James McClean played for Derry City in the Eirtricity league in the Republic of Ireland, not NI.
I only mention this as he’s currently waiting for inclusion in the ROI full squad after deciding not to play for NI when called up, following on from other defections involving young men from Nationalist areas.
The IFA have appointed Gerry Armstrong to try to rectify this trend.
It’s allowed under the Good Friday agreement but has created ill feeling among the repective associations.
