Adebayor-RVP punch-up /Vieira medical /Fabregas/Jack Wilshere

A month ago I was told that Wenger had wanted to sell Adebayor for 15 months before he did so.

Now I’m told that Adebayor had a training ground punch-up with Van Persie and Bendtner 16 or 17 months ago.
That was when Wenger decided to unload him. And that explains a lot.

Following on from my story that PATRICK VIEIRA was coming but Arsenal didn’t get the money to Inter Milan in time on deadline day, confirmation that Vieira (1) had a medical (2) passed the medical and (3) will come in January.

FABREGAS is cheesed off that the experienced players he was promised have not arrived.

We guessed that from the way he’s been playing.

On JACK WILSHERE, the youth coaches think he’s ready but Wenger won’t play him.

I think he’s ready. I know he’s ready.

But this manager doesn’t like English players, doesn’t trust English players, has fears about their friends and their lifestyles, doesn’t reckon kids from English council estates can handle fame, success and big money, even if they have the required technique and athletic abilities. He actually thinks Eboue, Song and Diaby are better footballers than Jack Wilshere. And he is horrified by suggestions that Fabio Capello wants to consider Wilshere for the World Cup.

Arsene Wenger has given the France team a lot. He’s given the England team nothing. He was within two days of selling Ashley Cole to Crystal Palace. Then he found out Silvinho had a hot passport.

Nigel Winterburn was the best English defender ever to get only 2 caps. Lee Dixon got 22 caps, Tony Adams 66 .

Ashley Cole, a kid from Stepney, has won 76 caps and will overtake Kenny Sansom, who has 86 caps.

And the only great young player produced by the Arsenal academy since Wenger joined Arsenal is Ashley Cole. Fabregas , Bendtner and all the others were parachuted in from abroad at 16. The English lads are always sold and will always be sold as long as Wenger is in charge.

That money, and the sell-on clause money, funds the further acquisition of French, African and foreign players. When Clichy is playing badly, Gibbs still can’t get a game. And it will always be that way with this manager.

Of course, many Gooners don’t care where the players come from, as long as they play well for Arsenal.
