From Peter Day : 2 tickets
Hi Myles,
Been following your site for a few years from Hong Kong, where I was based for 20+ years.
Three years ago I moved to Bali.
Went to my first game when I was 7, a capacity crowd against Nottingham Forest.
No idea why but my Dad took us to the Clock End, so when we scored the winner we had already left, as I was petrified of the vitriol and bottles coming over the fence!
Then did a couple of seasons going to every home game in the early to mid-Eighties when football was unfashionable and I think I remember a gate as low as 17,000 against Luton.
My 13-year old has done the Emirates Tour, seen the team play in a pre-season in Hong Kong, but as we generally go back in the summer, he has never seen a live match.
We’re actually down on the Isle of Wight over Christmas and would love to get tickets for the Southampton game on Boxing Day. I’ve seen the secondary market online ticket sales sites but they look dodgy to say the least.
Just wondered if any of your readers had a couple of tickets they weren’t going to use?
I’d love to take them – no problem with a profit being turned, as long as they’re real tickets!
