Arsenal can win without Sanchez having a good game

From Navtej :

Some thoughts on the Everton game:

– Arsenal can win without Sanchez having a good game. Giroud and Ozil stepped up. In order to stay near the title race we need to have different players having good games

– If Carzola or Coquelin get injured we are exposed in midfield. We are so reliant on this pair with no back up.

– Oxlade-Chamberlain needs to do more. Poor game for an England international – he is no longer a youngster and we should expect better

– We have a goalkeeper at last! Cech is good….very very good

– We have two good full backs. Monreal has improved by at least 20-30% over the last year

– We can’t finish teams off....this nearly cost us as the legs tired in the second half…..better game management is needed to see out matches without burning so much energy

– We have winners – Gabriel, Cech, Coquelin, Sanchez…..maybe the creche will learn that you have to play with passion to win especially in matches where the legs have gone a bit…

Overall, typical Arsenal, a sum of progress in parts….we seem to be inching to a better place we maybe we could make strides with one or two additions (defensive midfielder cover….)

Myles says:

A club as big as Arsenal should be able to rest Sanchez and still win.

Let’s hope all the goalkeepers Arsenal play against are as bad as Tim Howard.

He has been iffy for a long time and was lame on both goals.
