The only exciting bit of speculation is hidden away in the Star on Sunday when it says the Spanish press report Wenger's offer of a player plus cash bid for Fernando Torres.
On Sky Sports Spanish coverage, Gerry Armstrong said that Reyes could well end up at Atletico. Previous reports said they'd valued him at £10m, but were cash strapped.
Don't think much will happen until the Spanish season ends in three weeks, as key players, such as David Villa have gone on record as saying nothing will be decided until the end of the season. After that – expect a massive domino effect.

Judging by previous match reports, he can score a fair amount of goals but can equally provide assists.
The People says Peterborough are leading the chase to snap up Arsenal teenager Jay Simpson, 18 -the first player to score a hat-trick at The Emirates (in an FA Youth clash with Cardiff).

The Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, 22, has joined Arsenal for an undisclosed fee and a longterm contract from Legia Warsaw. Fabianski has made four appearances for his country and was voted the Polish league's best goalkeeper for the previous two seasons after some fine performances for Legia.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have some money from Mart Poom's transfer to Watford (undisclosed fee) Poom, 35, made only one Premiership appearance for Arsenal in his 17 months at the club.

Don't like Wenger's statement: "Cesc is going to spend the next year with Arsenal," as a result of stories saying he [Wenger] could go to Real and bring Fabregas with him.
The player has just signed a very long contract, so it is a strange statement in that context. Juxtaposed with Danny Fiszman and fellow board members' statement about not selling for a year, it points to this next season being a massive watershed for the club.
