Kroenke buys more shares as canny Arsene looks for transfer help

On Thursday, Peter Hill-Wood said, “We don’t need Kroenke’s money and we don’t want his sort.”

On Friday, Silent Stan Kroenke said nothing.

But Stan increased his shareholding to 12.19 %.

J.P. Morgan now holds 1,368 shares for him.

The share price touched £7,000 for the first time on Friday

The in-fighting at football clubs is a soap opera which keeps thousands of insiders amused, season after season.

But when heads roll, as David Dein’s did this week, it reminds us how hard it is to keep a team of people working together and singing from the same hymn-sheet.

AS ALWAYS, Arsene Wenger is in no hurry to sign a new contract.

He has more power out of contract than in contract. He is in no rush. He never has been.

Arsene just says ,”We want to win our last four games.”

He wants to hire someone to help him with transfer deals.

Will that person be French, I wonder.
