Stan Kroenke has said he will meet the Arsenal Supporters Trust at some future date.
He wouldn’t say that if he was not buying the club.
The Trust believe that Kroenke bought Fiszman’s 1%, as I suggested at the time.
And 315 shares changed hands today. Offer price is now £6,900.
The AIM stock market is expected to reveal the extent of Kroenke’s Arsenal stake in a statement later this week. He may have 12% or 14%. Watch this space.
TWO RUMOURS from the training ground.
One is that Wenger loves Baptista, absolutely loves him. I don’t believe that rumour. Baptista is so bad he makes Wiltord look like Pele.
Second rumour is that Robin van Persie is running around and kicking balls.

Not surprised that Essien fired the winner in Valencia in the 90th minute. He’s been their best player this season. Morientes scored, Shevchenko equalised, Chelsea ruled the second half, 2-2 on aggregate, extra time looked inevitable and then : BANG ! Essien’s bionic strike beat Canizares inside his near post.
I emailed my friend Pol, former music editor of Time Out, in Thailand yesterday : On Sky Sports News I saw Chelsea arriving in Spain last night and Essien was smiling a little smile, as if he knows something we don’t. He will put Chelsea in the semi.
Pol replied : He often smiles like that. He may get some playing time but doubt he will start. Same for Joe Cole. Drogba looking a bit shagged out of late and Frank looks burnt out too. Superhuman team effort needed.
