The Arsenal of three years ago might have beaten Coventry 4-2.
The efficient team of today won 4-0.
The clinical Podolski scored two goals in the first half, Coventry battled back after half-time. But as they tired Arsenal took over again and Wenger brought on three subs, two of whom scored.
Maybe Robert Martinez can win the FA Cup again.
Last season he won it at Wembley with Wigan in the same month that the club was relegated.
Despite that sickener, Wigan chairman Dave Whelan holds the Spaniard in very high regard.
Everton chairman Bill Kenwright must thank the day that Whlean had to the foresight to sign three Spanish players and then make Martinez his coach after he had proven himself at Swansea.
