From David Kwalimwa: Draxler/Vucinic/Giovinco
Three of the two?
Myles has often got most predictions right but some wrong down the years. On other occasions, he’s got some right and most wrong.
On April 13 2012, Myles wrote Wenger will sign Podolski, Vertonghen, M’Villa and Belhanda that summer, adding the signings would convince Van Persie to re-sign.
2 of those 5 predictions were spot on, as 3 of the 4 players didn’t arrive, perhaps the chief reason our flying Dutchman departed for Old Trafford.
On January 26 2014, Myles says Wenger is about to sign two players, a German and Italian.
No names. With this revelation, hundreds of thousands of Arsenal fans will be refreshing the ANR page till Myles gets it right or wrong.
Draxler anyone? Never watched him play. Vucinic/Giovinco?
Both are better than Bendtner.
Wenger has a real chance to get the team back to winning ways this season, he shouldn’t chuck that by failing to add more bodies to the squad.
Obviously, the eight-year old ‘kids’ experiment has since failed at Colney, today’s football climate is about spending = winning.
Still, was however surprised to hear Mourinho mention the words Financial Fair play last week.
Just found out one of my bosses regularly reads ANR. Guess it’s faster to pass my regards to him via this site.
After all we met on this platform.
BTW Arsenal travel to face Victor Wanyama’s Southampton on Tuesday.
Watch out for East Africa’s finest.
Myles says:
Everybody gets a few wrong, David.
Did I really predict Belhanda?
The world of transfers is a dirty, dog-eat-dog business where betrayals and deceptions are driven by greed and spite
Vucinic in his prime was a predator with stiletto skills.
You have the command of dates I lacked when I was doing A-level history… and still lack today.,
PS One summer I gave you Sol Campbell, Van Bronkhorst and Jeffers, so I do nail it from time to time.
But that was so long ago that I couldn’t put a date on it.
Always remember: inside info can turn out to be wrong.
