Will Lukaku terrorise Arsenal today?
Don’t know.
But the last time I got excited by an Arsenal transfer story was when Wenger was linked with Lukaku.
I bought The Sun, cut out the full-page story and pinned it on the door of my office.
So I wouldn\’t lose it.
Because I\’m usually drowning in paper.
Didn’t mention this on ANR, as far as I can recall.
Left the Lukaku story on my door for over a year.
To remind myself to stop dreaming.
I originally thought : Emirates Stadium needs a power striker who is big and strong and fast and can score spectacular goals and get bums off seats, like Les Ferdinand.
Somebody who can roar away down the pitch and blast the ball into the net.
I hoped Lukaku would turn out to be a Belgian Les Ferdinand.
But Chelsea bought him and loaned him to West Brom, where Steve Clarke is doing an excellent job in his first season as a manager.
Romelu Lukaku is still a kid but he\’s scored 13 goals this season .
