From Andy :Wenger is the minister for misinformation
Hello Myles,
I watched Arsene’s press conference today and want to comment on a couple of statements he made.
1. What we need is to be united and strong and not to be destabilised by people who always have strong opinions after one game.
I believe the above statement shows Wenger has completely lost the plot and will never resign from Arsenal unless he is sacked.
How can he have the effrontery to make that statement? We have lost against Bradford, Blackburn and now Bayern as we have exited from all the cup competitions not to mention our numerous losses in the league. So how can he claim that people have opinions after one game.
Le Prof is living in his own world, where he see nothing and hears nothing. He reminds me of that information minister during the Iraq war who kept on making claims that the war was being won when in the background you could see Iraq being destroyed.
2. I believe that what is important is the club goes always with the guidelines we have inside and keep them and do not change direction everytime that we lose a big game, as that would lead to disaster.
This statement just confirms that the man will never change no matter what happens or how low we finish in the league.
It might seem a bit drastic but fans need to stay home and watch the game on Sky as that is the only way the owners will be forced to act.
We have to hit them in the only place it hurts (their pocket).
I am going one better and will not buy any replica kit till the Emperor goes.
