Chelsea can defend/last chance for Drogba,Lampard

From Varghese : Chelsea final
Hi Myles,
While everyone urges you to not burn your money betting on Chelsea and supplies  the logical reasons why Bayren will win,I think they have shown in the Champions League that they can do it.
Reason 1) – they can defend.
Even if Terry is out, I think with Cahill and Luiz they have their central defenders.
2) They will dearly miss Ramires and Meriless but as a team they have clearly shown that when they really want something they can get it. Even if it involves getting rid of their managers.
3) It’s the only opportunity they have.
Drog and Lamps know that this is the only opportunity.
4) Di Matteo also knows that this is his only opportunity for him to pull this off.
How often does an Asst coach get an opportunity to manage a first team to the Champions League success?
Imagine what great history it would make. His market value goes up straight away.
It’s true that the Chelsea midfield will have to work hard to keep Ribery and Robben quiet but  I think they will be able to do it. Cos they are the only 2 that they need to keep quiet.
Big game needed from Drog and Sturridge.
Go Myles, give it a try if it’s what your head says.
Have fun watching.
From Javi : Champions League Final
This is one of those rare occasions that I believe your prediction on the final.
I like your response to Alex- silence.
All you may have to do is give him back his email on Sunday with no extra words, and if he humble enough, he will apologise.
Chelsea will take this. Narrowly I believe. I don’t like Chelsea because of a noisy Chelsea brother, but I’ll put my rivalry aside, if only for Totenham to stay behind.
Javi,

No apologies will be expected, Javi, whatever happens.
It’s only football, it’s only blogging, it’s only Myles on a Thursday afternoon.
I’ve spent the last  two days chucking out old rubbish from the shelves in my office.
Football magazines, rock magazines, stuff that’s spewed out of  my Brother printers, booklets, annual reports from Investec, Fidelity, Dunfermline, guides to ancient World Cups,  clumps of old birthday cards, just  junk, junk and more  junk.
It’s a liberating process but it stirs up too many memories.
