Kolo Toure has contracted malaria.
He was on holiday in the Ivory Coast, joined up with the squad, got sent to a hospital in Vienna , where doctors said he has malaria.
But which malaria? There are various types of malaria. One is fatal. Another is recurring. Another is where you have one attack and then recover.
Kolo Toure is 27 and a mainstay of the team. Arsenal are short of centrebacks and cannot afford to be without Toure in August.
