320 Arsenal shares sold for £2.6 million

Merrily promising that nothing dramatic would happen at Arsenal before 2009, I may have been over-optimistic.

Last week we were told that American billionaire Stan Kroenke was coming over to meet the Arsenal board.

That was intriguing.

Would the American gentleman say, “Sell to me or I’ll sell to them” ?

Then The Sunday Mirror and The People said Kroenke  “was poised” to sell his shares to Usmanov.

If true, this was serious.

On Monday morning AFC shares were being sold for £8,200 each.

Then 260 shares were sold for £8,260 each.

That’s £2,643,200.

In total, at the time of writing this piece, 332 Arsenal shares had been sold today on the Plus Market website.

That’s brisk business.
